About

Dr. Scott Jarrett

Fishing Rod

A transplant to Montana, Dr. Jarrett practiced endodontics in Reno, Nevada for 15 years. He received his bachelor of science degree from Oregon State University in 1994 with a major in biology and minors in chemistry and philosophy. He graduated from the University of the Pacific, receiving his doctor of dental surgery degree in 1998. After practicing general dentistry for three years, Dr. Jarrett decided to pursue endodontics exclusively, and in 2003 he received his certificate in endodontics from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln. Dr. Jarrett is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, having received board certification in 2010. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Jarrett enjoys spending his time on any number of Montana's fishing streams with his daughter Delaney, one of their favorite things about this beautiful area. He and his youngest daughter Bailey love watching superhero movies and losing themselves in the Marvel Universe. He also enjoys the occasional golf game, and woodworking and blacksmithing with his wife, Joanne..

Joanne and Dr. Jarrett have been married since 1997 and have two daughters. She is a family physician that retired to raise their kids. She is excited to be pursuing this adventure along with her husband now that their girls are more independent. In her spare time, she loves to sew, hunt for antiques, run (well, it's really more of a slow jog), and read. She also blogs at shelfieshoppe.com where she chronicles the on-going adventure of launching her women's loungewear line, Shelfie's, and posts random musings about parenting, medicine, running a household, and anything else that strikes her fancy. They moved to Montana in 2018 along with her sister's family, her parents, and two of her aunts, 11 in all. And they all love Montana!
